I’m sure you’ve been in this situation before—you park yourself at a cafe and open your laptop to do some work, only to find that it has run out battery. That’s not great, especially if the said cafe has no plug points for you to charge your laptop.
Helpfully, Ugreen has a solution with its new power bank, which is designed to juice up a laptop at up to 145W—enough to charge a 13-inch MacBook Air M2 in 90 minutes. With a massive 25,000mAh capacity, it’s claimed to be able to fully charge laptops up to 1.3 times and phones up to 5.6 times before needing to be charged itself.
The Ugreen 145W Power Bank can charge up to three devices simultaneously, via two USB-C ports (one at up to 100W, the other up to 45W) and a single USB-A port that can send up to 18W. Bear in mind, however, that the maximum wattage with all three devices plugged in is limited to 115W.
It supports USB PD 3.0 and Quick Charge 3.0 standards, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices, including the latest 14-inch MacBook Pro and the earlier 15-inch model, the Nintendo Switch, the Steam Deck and even the DJI Mini 3 Pro. Ugreen says the power bank is airline-friendly, due to it being below the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) 100Wh limit (as outlined by Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia); it weighs 513g. An LED display shows the remaining charge.
Officially, the Ugreen 145W Power Bank is priced at USD 149.99 (around RM701) and GBP 139.99 (around RM832) and can be purchased on Amazon’s US and UK portals. The company’s authorised dealer is also selling the device at RM705.80 on Shopee and Lazada, though it’s currently offering the device with a 50% discount, dropping the price to RM352.90.
