Yoodo which currently offers 5G access has announced that its free 5G Trial offer is coming to an end. Yoodo customers who want to continue to enjoy 5G on Digital Nasional Berhad’s network will be required to pay for a monthly 5G pass starting 5th July 2023.
According to Yoodo, the 5G Pass costs RM10/month but they are offering 50% off for a limited time. This means you can add on a 5G Pass for RM5/month on the next monthly renewal cycle. To recap, the 5G Pass is only applicable to Yoodo users with a high-speed data plan of at least 10GB of data.
The best Yoodo high-speed configuration plan to start with is 20GB of data for RM20/month and you can go all the way up to 200GB for only RM98/month. Yoodo customers on unlimited plans are not eligible to enable the 5G pass. If you don’t need 5G, be sure to untick the 5G pass option before your next renewal. In case you missed it, CelcomDigi has started charging prepaid users for 5G Booster passes which start from RM3 per day or RM12 per week.
