TM introduced its new 5G-enabled Uni5G postpaid plans back in February, however, its highest Uni5G Postpaid 89 option was listed as “Coming soon”. Now Unifi Mobile has finally made the plan available and it offers unlimited 5G and 4G high-speed data for RM89/month. This is essentially the successor to the previous Unifi Mobile Ultimate Postpaid plan.
The Uni5G Postpaid 89 is priced at RM89/month without a contract. Besides having unlimited 5G and 4G data on the device, the plan also comes with unlimited calls and 10GB of hotspot data. If you need more hotspot quota, you’ll have to purchase more at RM30 for 10GB.
If you need additional lines for your household, TM has also introduced its Uni5G Postpaid Supplementary 39 which costs RM39/month per line. Uni5G Postpaid 89 users can add up to 5 Supplementary 39 lines which comes with unlimited 5G+4G data and unlimited calls. However, it shares the same hotspot allocation as the principal line.
If each of your family members needs more hotspot data, they might want to consider getting their own Uni5G Postpaid 39 plan which comes with 30GB 5G+4G data, unlimited calls and their own 10GB hotspot quota. However, the data on the device is limited to just 30GB and after hitting the quota, the speed will be throttled down to 512Kbps.
For RM89/month, Uni5G Postpaid 89 is more expensive than Yes 5G’s infinite postpaid plans. On Yes, you can get their Infinite Basic plan which offers Unlimited 5G + 4G data, unlimited calls and 20GB of hotspot data for only RM58/month. Alternatively, there’s also the Yes Power 35 plan at RM35/month which offers 100GB of 5G+4G data which you can use for hotspot.
