Along with the Note 30 Pro, Infinix has also launched the regular Note 30 in Malaysia. Apart from losing out on the wireless charging capabilities that’s present on the Pro model, the Note 30 also has a few other downgrades but makes up for it by being much cheaper, making it potentially the biggest new rival to budget mainstays like Redmi and Realme.

Infinix Note 30 Malaysia pricing and availability

Available from 25th May onwards, the Infinix Note 30 is priced at RM699 and you can find it on sale at the official Infinix store on Lazada, Shopee and Tiktok. From 29th May to 2nd June meanwhile, all buyers of an Infinix Note 30 will also be able to snag a free limited edition Infinix x MLBB MSL Championship Gift Box while stocks last.

On top of that, if you buy a Note 30 for yourself you also get to take part in their Spend & Win contest where you’ll stand a chance to win prizes worth over RM20,000, such as an Infinix INBook X1 laptop, an Infinix X1 Android Smart TV and the Infinix True Wireless XE27 earbuds.

Infinix Note 30 specs

Despite its entry-level price tag, the Infinix Note 30 packs a huge 6.78-inch FHD+ display. though it does use an IPS LCD panel meaning that its peak brightness is only 580nits, lower than other devices using AMOLED displays. However, it is still capable of a 120Hz refresh rate with full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut with 10-bit colour depth.

Under the hood, the Infinix Note 30 features a MediaTek Helio G99 processor mated to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It comes with Android 13 out of the box, skinned with their own XOS 13 over it. On the back meanwhile is a 64MP main camera flanked by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP AI camera, while up front you’ll find a 16MP selfie shooter.

Elsewhere, the Note 30 has a 5,000mAh battery keeping the lights on with 45W fast charging. Despite losing out on wireless charging compared to the Infinix Note 30 Pro, the regular Note 30 still has features such as bypass charging for when you’re gaming and reverse charging via cable. Other features of note include a 3.5mm headphone jack, fingerprint scanner, NFC support and stereo speakers tuned by JBL.
