LG UltraGear 45GR95QE: This 45-inch 240Hz curved OLED monitor can be yours for RM7,647

Earlier this year, LG Malaysia dropped the UltraGear 27GR95QE, a high end 27-inch OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate. However, if 27-inches is jsut too small for you, or maybe you’re a 21:9 connoisseur instead then fret not, as LG Malaysia has announced that the UltraGear 45GR95QE is now available for pre-order in Malaysia.

Priced at RM7,647, you’ll be able to pre-order it from the LG Malaysia Monitor official store on Lazada from now till the 14th of May. It’s the world’s first ever 45-inch curved OLED gaming monitor, packing a WQHD (3,440 x 1,440p) resolution in an ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio. The LG OLED panel also allows for a 240Hz refresh rate with an extremely fast 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time. The 800R curvature meanwhile should make it more comfortable as you game, taking up more of the periphery vision too.

The LG UltraGear 45GR95QE is also rated for a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, with a peak brightness of 1,000nits in HDR mode. It’s capable of 1.07 billion colours too, along with NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium support. The monitor covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, has HDR10 support and a 100 x 100mm VESA mount on the back. The display panel has a matte anti-glare finish to it too, with low blue light certification by UL Solutions for less eyestrain during long gaming sessions.

On top of that, the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE comes with two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 output, a USB 3.0 upstream port, a USB-3.0 downstream ports, SPDIF out and a 4-pole headphone jack. Powering it meanwhile is an external 160W power brick, though LG rates regular power consumption to be around 129W instead.
