Acer Swift 14 Malaysia: Premium thin and light laptop with 13th Gen Intel Core H-series CPUs

On top of launching the affordable Swift Go 14, Acer has also brought along their more premium laptop to our shores, the Swift 14. Positioned as a replacement to its iconic Swift 5 lineup of thin-and-light laptops, the Swift 14 comes after the Taiwanese giant revamped their naming scheme for its laptops earlier this year.

Acer Swift 14 Malaysia pricing and availability

The Acer Swift 14 will be available for purchase from late April onwards, with it being sold on the Acer Malaysia eStore as well as their official store on Shopee and Lazada. Available in three different configurations, here’s how much the Swift 14 will cost in Malaysia:

  • Acer Swift 14, Intel Core i5-13500H, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD – RM4,299
  • Acer Swift 14, Intel Core i5-13500H, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD – RM4,599
  • Acer Swift 14, Intel Core i7-13700H, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD – RM5,399

Acer Swift 14 specs

The Acer Swift 14 is very much a more premium offering that its Swift Go 14 stablemate. Built out of aerospace-grade aluminium in a unibody chassis, it weighs just 1.2kg and measures 14.95mm thin, with a striking design to it. This chassis houses a 14-inch, WQXGA (2560 x 1600p) IPS display in a 16:10 aspect ratio, which also has touch support and a layer of antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass over it for scratch resistance.

Under the hood, Acer has given the Swift 14 13th Gen Intel Core H-series processors, which should offer a notable improvement in performance compared to the 12th Gen Intel Core P-series chips in last year’s Swift 5. This gets mated to up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe NVMe Gen4 SSD. Cooling this all meanwhile is Acer’s own TwinAir cooling, and you’ll find Windows 11 out of the box together with a copy of Microsoft Office 2021 Home and Student edition.

Elsewhere, the Swift 14 features Intel Evo certification, meaning it’ll offer around 10 hours of battery life from its 56Wh battery. You’ll also find two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a HDMI port as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for I/O, along with support for WiFi 6E connectivity and a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello too. The webcam has been improved as well, with an FHD camera coming with temporal noise reduction technology for better video conferencing.
