Danish audio brand Jabra has launched their latest true wireless earbuds in Malaysia, the Jabra Elite 4. Positioned as a pair of earbuds to cover the basics, Jabra says it should provide users all the essentials they can expect with their TWS earbuds, including comfort, sound and convenience.
The Jabra Elite 4 packs a pair of 6mm drivers in them with active noise cancellation (ANC), with each earbud weighing in at 4.6g. These are paired with a 4-microphone setup, with Jabra claiming it’ll provide better and clearer calls while on the go. Jabra also rates the Elite 4 for an up to 28 hours battery life in total, with 7 hours of music in the earbuds themselves; together with the case, battery life is rated at 22 hours in total if you use ANC, with up to 5.5 hours from the earbuds themselves with ANC on. If you’re out of battery, a 10 minute charge should be able to get you up to an additional hour of playback too.
Jabra is highlighting the connectivity of the Elite 4 quite a bit, with the earbuds featuring Bluetooth 5.2 together with Bluetooth multipoint for connecting up to 6 devices and an up to 10m operating range. You’ll find support for the Qualcomm aptX codec too, which should be better than the also included SBC codec. There’s also Fast Pair and Swift Pair connect, allowing you to sync it up with your Android device or Windows PC in mere seconds. Other notable features include Spotify Tap playback though unfortunately only when hooked up to Android devices.
Other than that, the Elite 4 also comes with HearThrough transparency mode for when you need to pay attention to the sounds and voices around you. Better yet, you can even just use one earbud at a time in mono mode, keeping the other bud in the case. The Elite 4 will be available in four colour options too; Dark Gray, Navy, Lilac and Light Beige. And if you plan on using them while working out or when you’re out and about, the Elite 4 has an IP55 dust and water resistance rating too, along with a 2-year warranty.
If you’re interested, the Elite 4 is priced at RM529, and you can get them over on Jabra’s official Shopee and Lazada stores starting from late-April onwards. Alternatively, you’ll also be able to find them at selected authorised retailers nationwide. For more about the Jabra Elite 4, you can check out its product page here.
