MSI Malaysia is offering up to RM700 in discounts on their laptops this Ramadan month

If you’re looking at spending your duit raya on a brand new gaming laptop, MSI Malaysia has announced that they’re offering up to RM700 off selected MSI laptops in conjunction with Ramadan. This deal is already happening now, and will last till the end of April 2023, and you can check out their Ramadan promotion on their website by clicking here.

Specifically, the RM700 off is for the MSI Katana GF66 with either the Intel Core i7-11800H or the Intel Core i5-11400H. The former is now just RM4,899, while the latter is down to RM3,999. Both models also come with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, a 15.6-inch, FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Newer versions of the MSI Katana GF66 are also on sale, albeit with smaller rebates. The model with an Intel Core i7-12700H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 is now RM4,399, having gotten a RM600 discount by MSI.

Meanwhile, the Katana GF66 with an Intel Core i7-12650H is also on sale with a RM500 rebate—the one with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 is now RM5,699 down from RM6,199, with the laptop packing an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 now RM4,599. There’s also the Katana GF66 with an Intel Core i5-12500H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 that’s going for just RM4,299, down from its retail RM4,599 price tag. If you’re really on a budget, the older MSI GF63 Thin with an Intel Core i5-10500H and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 is also on sale, with a RM150 rebate bringing the price down to RM2,799.

MSI though doesn’t just deal with gaming hardware. Their Modern lineup of laptops is also on sale, with a rebate of up to RM500 available here for their Modern 14 models that pack the 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor, bringing it down to just RM2,499 from its usual price of RM2,999. Their older Modern 14 options with an 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 also gets a RM300 rebate, meaning you’ll be able to get it for just RM1,899, down from RM2,199. Meanwhile, if you prefer AMD silicon, the Modern 14 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5625U has a RM450 discount on it, bringing the price down to RM2,449.

Those looking for a larger display can also take a look at their Modern 15 lineup that have bigger 15.6-inch displays instead of the 14-inch screens on the Modern 14. Here, the Modern 15 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U is going for just RM2,699, a RM500 discount from its RM3,199 retail price. Alternatively, you can also consider the Modern 15 with the Intel Core i5-1235U under the hood, which is currently on sale for just RM2,599 this Ramadan, down from RM2,999.

Incidentally, this promotion overlaps the ongoing deal they have where MSI will give you USD100 (~RM446.80) in Steam Wallet credit when you purchase a laptop with the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 series graphics cards in them.
