Sooka, the video streaming platform by Astro, has announced a price cut for its premium VIP TV subscription service. Originally priced at RM84.90 per month, the Sooka VIP TV plan is now offered with a permanent monthly subscription of RM62.90/month. Prior to this, they had offered the VIP TV plan for RM62.90/month as a limited-time promo.

The RM62.90/month VIP TV option provides access to Live Sports and Entertainment which include Premier League, BWF Badminton, AFC, UFC, F1, Moto GP and more. You also get access to Sooka Originals and 18 Live Channels which are accessible 24/7. This option allows you to watch on both compatible Smart TVs and mobile devices.

If you just want access to sports content while on the go, there’s a cheaper VIP+Sports at RM41.90/month which also offers local and international live sports content as well as 18 Live channels. However, this plan only lets you watch on mobile app and web only. Meanwhile, the VIP Entertainment plan at RM15.90/month provides entertainment content such as local dramas, movies and variety shows.

If you’re thinking of getting the Sooka VIP TV option, take note that the Smart TV feature is only compatible with four brands. For Android TV, Sooka only works with Sony and Sharp TVs running on version 8.0 and above. It also works with LG TV 2018 and above, running at least WebOS 4.0 as well as Samsung TV 2018 and above, running at least Tizen OS 4.0. Sooka accepts credit and debit cards for the subscription payment method.

To give Sooka a try, you can watch selected content for free with ads supported. To learn more, you can visit Sooka’s website or download the app on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
