If you use hotspot a lot, you can actually add more quota for free through Yes’ Enhanced Databack program with Shopee. For every RM50 spent on Shopee, you’ll get 5GB of databack, which you can redeem up to 100GB a month from the Shopee app. Users on the Infinite Postpaid plans can use the databack as hotspot data.
As reported earlier, Yes FT5G prepaid users will no longer enjoy unlimited 5G hotspot quota. Yes has updated its hotspot quota which now is shared for both 4G and 5G usage. The previous hotspot quota of 9GB has been bumped up to 12GB per month and the change will be reflected in your next renewal cycle. The other perks remain unchanged which include unlimited 4G usage with a 7Mbps speed cap, while 5G usage remains unlimited with no data and speed limit within DNB’s 5G coverage area.
