Are you a gamer looking for an upgrade to your monitor? Looking for a way to spend your hard earned Chinese New Year angpao collection? Well if that sounds like you, you might want to check out LG’s latest gaming monitor, the new LG UltraGear 27GR95QE.

The LG UltraGear 27GR95QE is now available for pre-order from now till the 12th of February in Malaysia with a RM4,497 price tag. You’ll be able to get it from LG Malaysia’s official website, as well as the LG Monitor store on Lazada. On top of that, if you buy it from their Lazada store during this pre-order period, you’ll also be able to receive a free LG UltraGear canvas bag and a water bottle.

One of the big reasons why the LG UltraGear 27GR95QE is such a special monitor is mostly down to it being the world’s first OLED panel that’s able to push a 240Hz refresh rate. It also has a rated 0.03ms response time too. This is on top of the already decent 2560 x 1440p resolution it has, which should still be crisp and clear at 27-inches big. It also covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and is HDR10 certified too.

Furthermore, the LG UltraGear 27GR95QE is NVIDIA G-Sync compatible too, while also supporting AMD FreeSync Premium ensuring you can get the best performance with your high end gaming rig. But if you’re feeling more like watching a movie or playing a single player, atmospheric game, the LG UltraGear 27GR95QE is also able to deliver a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio for deep blacks and detailed quality thanks to the OLED panel. This is on top of the rated 1000nits of peak brightness it can push out.

As for I/O, the LG UltraGear 27GR95QE comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 port, meaning that whichever port you use should be able to support the 240Hz refresh rate this monitor can output. There’s also a 4-pole headphone jack, USB-A ports and even a remote control in the box for easy display management.
