MYAirline offers 10,000 free flight seats for a limited time

Ahead of the Chinese New Year celebration, new low-cost carrier MYAirline has kicked off a RM0 flight seat promo to various local destinations in Malaysia. A total of 10,000 RM0 seats are up for grabs until 14th January 2023.

MYAirline’s RM0 flight seat promo is applicable for flights to Langkawi, Penang, Kota Bharu, Kuching, Miri, Sibu, Tawau and Kota Kinabalu, for the travel period between now until 31st July 2023. You can book now through their website.

Take note that the RM0 promo is for the seat and it excludes the MAVCOM fee, airport tax, fuel surcharge, service tax and other required fees. As highlighted by MYAirline in their promo image, the total all-in one-way price for flights within West Malaysia starts from RM25, while flights to East Malaysia destinations start from RM31. Take note that these fares exclude optional add-ons such as preferred seats, checked luggage allowance and in-flight meals.

If you couldn’t find the RM0 seat, MYAirline is currently having its My Great Sale promo until 19th January 2023 with all-in one-way fares from RM49 for the travel period between 26th March to 31st July 2023.

MYAirline recently achieved its 100,000th passenger milestone on 5th January after operating more than 600 flights since starting its commercial operations in December last year. They currently operate domestic flights within Malaysia from Kuala Lumpur (KLIA2) to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Kota Bharu, Langkawi, Penang, Sibu, Tawau and Miri.

Similar to AirAsia, MYAirline operates an Airbus A320 fleet with a single-class cabin configuration. MYAirline boasts of having better legroom for passengers as their non-adjustable lightweight seats are pre-reclined at 9 degrees.

Sarawak’s Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin recently said that MYAirline CEO Rayner Teo has given his assurance that flights to and from Sarawak will use aerobridges. The Kuala Lumpur to Sibu route will commence on 18th January while the Kuala Lumpur to Miri flights will be in operation from 1st March. Frequencies for both routes will be increased to 14 times weekly.
