As the year comes to a close, it makes sense that Malaysians are probably preparing for the upcoming 12.12 sales period as the holiday season looms. If you use Maybank’s services though, you might want to take note that right before 12.12, they will be down for maintenance a half hour earlier than normal so that users will be able to shop in peace from midnight onwards.
Specifically, the Maybank2u, MAE, QRPayBiz and the Maybank Wealth app will all be unavailable for use from 11.30pm onwards on 11 December 2022 until midnight. Maybank FPX online payments and debit card transactions will also be unavailable during this period, along with their self service machines such as ATMs, cash deposit machines and cheque deposit machines.
With most of Maybank’s online services down for maintenance, you might want to top up your eWallet accounts or transfer funds out of your Maybank account well before 11.30pm this Sunday. It’s also not the first time Maybank has done so, as they regularly move their maintenance window earlier in light of major sales periods such as 11.11 too.
