The ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition is for the ultimate comic book fan, comes with Bat-Signal

On top of the ROG Phone 6D series, Asus has also announced the arrival of the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition, which comes with a host of extras that should probably be of great interest to all you Batman and comic book fans out there.

Asus’ special edition ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition will be available in just one configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Priced at RM4,799, it’ll go on sale on the 25th of November on the Asus official store on Shopee and Lazada.

The cool thing about the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition though is that you’re getting a bunch of extra goodies with the phone. For starters, you’re getting it in a special ROG Batman box, and it in you’re getting the device, a special Batman themed case, a Batarang SIM ejector tool with a plastic stand as well as a Batman Signal projector which you can use to light up your room with either the Batman logo or a silhouette of the Caped Crusader himself.

While it’s called the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition, the device it’s based on is actually the ROG Phone 6D. This means that you’re getting the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor under the hood mated to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of storage, with Android 12 out of the box. You’ll also find that the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition comes with a Batman theme preloaded into it, such as the app icons and wallpaper. There’s a special notification and animation when you charge the device, while the in-display fingerprint scanner icon has been replaced with the iconic Batman logo too.

Up front meanwhile there’s a 6.78-inch, FHD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. You’ll also find a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus over it for scratch resistance while on the back the RGB ROG logo that is usually there has been swapped out for a light up Batman logo instead. The ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition comes with an IPX4 splash resistance rating too.

In the camera department meanwhile is a triple rear camera setup with a main 50MP, f/1.9 camera using the Sony IMX766 sensor next to a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP macro lens, with a 12MP front facing camera for selfies. You’ll also find a pair of front facing speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack and support for 5G, NFC, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Keeping the lights on meanwhile is a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. There’s the usual assortment of gaming-focused features too, such as the AirTrigger touch shoulder buttons, gyroscoping aiming in games as well as the double USB-C ports for charging the device while gaming in landscape mode.
