The Ugreen Docking Station with triple display support comes to Malaysia after all at RM1,299

It looks like we should’ve waited a couple more hours before covering the launch of the new Ugreen Docking Station that supports a triple display output, as just a while later it would pop up on the official Ugreen store on Shopee and Lazada.

Ugreen Docking Station Malaysia pricing and availability

When we first covered the Ugreen Docking Station this morning, the device was not listed on the official Ugreen store on Shopee and Lazada. However, it’s now listed on both platforms with a RM1,299 price tag. This is quite a bit cheaper than having to purchase it off Amazon and shipping it here as you would’ve had to before this, as it was priced at USD329.99 (~RM1,564.65) there.

Ugreen Docking Station specs and features

The Ugreen Docking Station packs a total of 13 ports, with one input where you’d connect your laptop and 12 output ports. On the back, there’s two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a DisplayPort output, two HDMI ports, an Ethernet port and two USB-C ports on the back of the device, while up front there’s a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, an SD card slot and a TF card slot. There’s also a power button up top with an LED indicator next to it.

The big unique selling point about the Ugreen Docking Station though is got to be its ability to hook up three different displays to it with up to three external monitors running at a 4K resolution at 60Hz if you’re using MacOS or two 4K monitors running at 60Hz and a third running at an 8K resolution at 30Hz if you’re using a Windows device. You will however need to install their DisplayLink drivers before using it.

You can also use the Ugreen Docking Station to charge your smartphone at up to 15W speeds, as well as hook up two external hard drives. This however needs you to use an external 100W USD PD power source to it. If you do use it that way, the good news is that you can then also power up your laptop at the same time. The Ethernet port meanwhile will also be able to support speeds of up to 1000Mbps. For more on the Ugreen Docking Station, you can check out its product page here.
