Digi has introduced two new Postpaid Infinite plans that offer “unlimited” calls and data from RM55/month. Both plans are only limited to the first 5,000 sign-ups and you can get additional unlimited perks or extra high-speed quota if you sign up with a contract.
The Digi Postpaid Infinite 55 plan is priced at RM55/month and it offers unlimited calls and “unlimited” internet capped at 6Mbps. Also included is 10GB of hotspot quota. If you need faster speeds, the next option is Digi Postpaid Infinite 75 which also offers unlimited calls and “unlimited” internet, but you get double the speed cap at 12Mbps and it still gets 10GB of hotspot quota. SMS are not included and are charged at 10 sen each.
If you are willing to commit to a 12-month contract, you can enjoy one Freedom add-on for free. Subscribers can pick one of the following options:
- 10GB (Postpaid Infinite 55) or 20GB (Postpaid Infinite 75) of highspeed quota
- Unlimited High-Speed Social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok)
- Unlimited High-Speed Video Streaming (Netflix, YouTube, Astro Go, Viu, Unifi PlayTV and Daily Motion
- Unlimited High-Speed Gaming (League of Legends, Mobile Legends, League of Legends Wild Rift, PUBG, Call of Duty, Free Fire, Arena of Valor)
As usual, the new “unlimited” data plans come with a “Fair Usage Policy” (FUP). According to the FAQ, the FUP quota is quite generous at 600GB per month. If you need more hotspot, you can purchase extra quota from RM5/month and there are also extra boosters priced from RM10 for 5GB (Postpaid Infinite 55), or RM10 for 10GB (Postpaid Infinite 75).
Digi Postpaid Infinite 75 customers can also enjoy an extra RM15/month rebate for 24 months if they sign up for a Digi Fibre broadband plan. These plans are offered for a limited time from 3rd October until 18th December 2022.
Overall, the new Postpaid Infinite plans appear to be an interesting step up from the usual “unlimited” prepaid plans. Not only it offers higher speeds but heavy data users would also appreciate the higher FUP although it is mostly limited to on-device use.
