Nothing shows off their upcoming Ear (Stick) earbuds with… superheroes?

Over a year ago, former OnePlus man Carl Pei would launch Nothing’s first product, the Ear (1) true wireless earbuds. They’ve since also launched the Phone (1) smartphone, but it seems that for their next trick, they’re going back to audio devices with the Ear (Stick). Nothing has also given us a glimpse of it, complete with what looks to be models in superhero-esque outfits.

Okay, so they’re not actually superheroes of course. Instead, Nothing has apparently given the audience at the London Fashion Week’s Chet Lo SS23 runway show a quick look at the upcoming earbuds, along with the bar-shaped charging case. In fact, Nothing seems to have forgotten about the actual earbuds themselves, with their new promotional images only really showing the case itself. However, they did mention that the Ear (Stick) earbuds are going to be ‘feather light’ and ‘supremely comfortable on its product page.

“Tech gets in the way too often. Of what we want to experience. Ear (stick) takes away those walls. Feather-light. Supremely comfortable ergonomic design.” – Ear (Stick) product page

As for the charging case, Nothing says that the case is meant to be compact, and is shaped in a way to make it glide into your pocket with ease. The design itself meanwhile is inspired by ‘classic cosmetic silhouettes’, akin to a lipstick or lip balm. It does have some elements of transparency though, with the outer layer of the case being made of a clear material.

That being said, Nothing has also said nothing much about when the Ear (Stick) earbuds will be made available, nor have they revealed how much they’ll cost. However, the UK-based company has indicated that more information will be revealed by the end of the year. If you are keen to still own a pair of Nothing-branded earbuds though, you could still get the Nothing Ear (1), which goes for RM499 on Shopee.
