Poco X4 GT Specs

Upfront, the Poco X4 GT gets a 6.6″ 20.5:9 Full HD+ display that pushes a 20.5:9 resolution of 2460×1080 pixels. Unlike the Poco F4 which uses 120Hz AMOLED panel, the X4 GT uses an LCD screen that pushes a higher 144Hz refresh rate and up to 270Hz touch sampling rate. It has a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and has a maximum brightness of 500 nits.

To optimise battery life, the Poco X4 GT has a 7-stage DynamicSwitch display feature which can switch to lower 30Hz, 48Hz and 50Hz refresh rates depending on your active app. Take note that the 270Hz touch sampling rate is only achievable if the display’s refresh rate is at 90Hz and below.

Under the hood, it runs on a 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip that supports 5G. On Antutu benchmarks, the new MediaTek chip seems to outperform the Snapdragon 870 that’s powering the Poco F3 and F4. The device comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage which isn’t expandable. To keep things cool, the X4 GT features a cooling system that uses a vapour chamber and 7 layers of graphite.

For taking pictures, the device gets a triple-camera setup at the rear. It gets a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, the device is equipped with a 16MP front camera.

In the audio department, the Poco X4 GT gets dual-speakers certified by Dolby Atmos. If you prefer to use your own pair of wired headphones, you’ll be happy to know that it still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. For instant unlocking, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and it also supports face unlock.

Powering the device is a generous 5,080mAh battery which supports 67W fast charging via USB-C. The 67W charging brick is included in the box and it is claimed that you can get a full charge in just 46 minutes.

Besides supporting 5G, the Poco X4 GT also supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and it also comes with an infrared blaster. Out of the box, it runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 for POCO skin on top.
