TM offers free Disney+ Hotstar with Unifi TV Ultimate Pack

Telekom Malaysia (TM) has announced new content additions to its Unifi TV offering for customers on their home broadband bundle. There will be 5 new channels as well as four video streaming applications which include Disney+ Hotstar.

4 new streaming apps and 5 new channels on Unifi TV

According to the broadband provider, the 5 new TV channels will be available from 1st May and they are BeIN Sports 1, BeIN Sports 3, CCTV-4, CGTN and Unifi’s very own DEGUP channel which provides action and horror content from the Asian region. The four streaming apps will be added sometime in mid-May. Besides Disney+ Hotstar, there’s also MySing, BeIN Sports Connect and Spotv Now.

MySing is a locally operated karaoke OTT app that provides more than 30,000 original Karaoke content in HD. Customers can enjoy a 30-day trial for a limited time exclusively on the Unifi Plus Box. For sports fans, there’s Spotv Now which provides live sports streaming and video-on-demand content for Asian and international events including MotoGP, The Open Championship, US Open and Wimbledon, World Table Tennis as well as Korean Baseball League and V.League Japan competition. It is available for free to all Ultimate Pack customers from 17 May 2022 onwards.

In total, Unifi TV customers can get access to a total of 74 premium channels and 15 streaming apps which are accessible on Unifi TV media boxes or Unifi PlayTV app on mobile devices.

Disney+ Hotstar bundled for free for Unifi TV Ultimate Pack

The Disney+ Hotstar bundle will be available from 17th May 2022 and it will be offered to Unifi TV Ultimate Pack subscribers at no extra charge as long as the pack is still active. New Unifi Home 100Mbps customers can enjoy 6 months of free access to the streaming app and it will be available as an add-on at RM16 per month for Unifi TV Varnam Plus, Aneka Plus and Ruby Plus Pack customers.

Unifi Home customers that don’t have any active Unifi TV Pack can subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar at a regular price of RM54.90 for 3 months. The subscription cost will be charged in a single Unifi bill for greater convenience. Customers who are interested in Disney+ Hotstar on Unifi TV can now register their interest on TM’s online portal.

Unifi customers get free Unifi TV access for all channels during Raya

In conjunction with the announcement as well as the upcoming Hari Raya season, Unifi is offering free viewing of all its channels to all Unifi Home customers from 30th April until 8th May 2022. If you’re planning to sign up for Unifi, subscribers can get 30-day free trial of broadband connectivity and enjoy the complete suite of Unifi TV channels. Customers can also bundle in a 60″ 4K UHD Android TV or an Asus laptop together with their subscription from RM79/month.
