What’s a good RM3,500 laptop with good screen? | Ask Us Anything

Hello everyone! Welcome back to another episode of AUA also known as Ask Us Anything where we gather all of your questions from the internet and answer them. On today’s video, what’s the best budget 5G phone in Malaysia? And also what’s a good laptop under RM3,500.

What’s the best budget 5G smartphone in Malaysia

Personally I would recommend you to get the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. The base model that comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is only priced at RM1,199 while the higher spec model that comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is going for RM1,299.

The specs are pretty good too. It comes with a 6.67″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 695 processor, a triple camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery with a 65W fast charging, which is super fast if you ask me.

Alex also suggested the Poco F3. You can get this smartphone for as low as RM999 during online mega sales. In terms of specs, this device here gets a 6.67” Full HD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 870 5G processor, a triple camera setup and a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

If you don’t really like Xiaomi, you can also consider the Samsung Galaxy A23. It features a 6.6″ Plane to Line Switching (PLS) LCD Full HD+ display, a Snapdragon 680 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also comes with a quad camera setup and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. If you are interested, this device is officially priced at RM999.

What’s the best RM3,500 laptop with a good screen?

I asked around in the office and Raymond actually suggested the Realme Book. This laptop comes with a 14” 3:2 IPS display with 400nits peak brightness. However, this display only comes with a 60Hz display so if you are looking for a super fast refresh rate screen, this is not it.

But, Raymond did a review of the Realme Book and he actually thinks that the screen of the laptop is nice and bright, which is great for watching YouTube and Netflix. He also mentioned that the keyboard is decent enough for daily usage.

In terms of pricing, the base model Realme Book that comes with an i3 processor is priced at RM2,999 while the high spec variant that comes with an i5 processor is going for RM3,499. You can read Raymond’s review of the Realme Book here.

Is the Apple TV 4K worth it?

The Apple TV 4K is basically a luxury TV box. It is priced at RM949 and it comes with 64GB of storage. There’s also the 32GB storage model, which you can get for RM849.

It’s got that Apple sheen which you could not find in any other products besides Apple. Everything runs really smoothly and the whole experience just feels really premium. You are basically paying for the high end Apple experience.

But if you are not willing to fork out the money, you can just go for something cheaper, like the Xiaomi Mi Box. It is priced around RM200-RM300 and you basically get the same thing, but you will be missing out on the smooth and premium experience that the Apple TV 4K has to offer.

Plastic chair used by Lewis Hamilton has been sold?

If you don’t know what’s going on, basically, the seven time Formula One world champion,Lewis Hamiliton was spotted filming for Petronas around Kuala Lumpur. In between his shoot, he was seen sitting on a plastic chair and it has then been a meme ever since.

Shortly after that, a Shopee seller has listed a plastic chair that’s allegedly been used by the world champion. And it is going for RM2888.88, which is insane. Who would ever buy a freaking plastic chair for that amount of money?

Well, apparently, there is. As reported by Says, it appears that Lewis Hamilton’s “Butt printed” plastic chair has just got sold for RM2,888. And that is also probably why the item has been taken off site.
