If you’ve been eyeing a Xiaomi flagship smartphone under RM3,000, the Xiaomi 12 with the larger 256GB of storage can be yours for only RM2,599 while stocks last. That’s RM400 off and is the same price as the recently announced Realme GT 2 Pro and Motorola Edge 30 Pro during their pre-order period.
To recap, the Xiaomi 12 series was launched in Malaysia last month and the smaller Xiaomi 12 with a 6.28″ screen is officially priced at RM2,899 for 128GB and RM2,999 for the 256GB storage option. At the moment, the Sunway eMall is currently listing the Xiaomi 12 256GB for RM2,799 but you can get an extra RM200 off with their current deal of the week promo which runs from 4th to 10th April 2022.
To purchase the Xiaomi 12 256GB with a RM400 discount, just go to the Sunway eMall and register for an account if you haven’t already. Upon check-out, apply the promo code XIAOMI12 to get the RM2,599 price. Do that that the code will only be valid if you’re logged in with a Sunway eMall account. The device is offered in three colours – Blue, Purple and Grey.
The delivery is free and you can earn 1,399.50 Sunway Pals points with this transaction. The Sunway eMall platform accepts credit or debit card, online banking, as well as eWallets such as Boost, GrabPay and Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
The Xiaomi 12 is currently the most powerful compact Android smartphone and it runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 gen 1 processor. It features a 6.28″ Full HD+ AMOLED display capable of 120Hz Adaptive Sync refresh rate and it boasts 1,100 nits of brightness. The device is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a choice of 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage which isn’t expandable.
The device is equipped with a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP f/1.88 main camera that uses Sony’s 1/1.56″ IMX766 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP telemacro camera. For selfies, the tiny punch-hole on the screen houses a 32MP in-display front camera. You also get a pair of stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon with Dolby Atmos enhancement. The Xiaomi 12 also supports 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC.
Powering the device is a large 4,500mAh battery which supports 67W fast wired charging as well as 50W wireless charging. You can also use it to charge other wireless devices with its 10W reverse wireless charging feature. If you’re looking for a bigger device, there’s the Xiaomi 12 Pro which gets a 6.73″ QuadHD+ AMOLED display, a more sophisticated triple 50MP cameras for wide, ultra-wide and telephoto, and a slightly bigger 4,600mAh battery that supports Xiaomi’s 120W HyperCharge fast charging.
