In conjunction with Lazada’s 10th birthday celebration, Samsung Malaysia is introducing its new Galaxy M33 5G. This is Samsung’s new mid-range 5G device which shares a lot of hardware similarities with the new Galaxy A33 5G.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G Malaysia price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G with 128GB of storage is officially priced at RM1,499, which is the same price as the Galaxy A33 5G. As part of its launch promo, you can get it for RM1,399 on Lazada, which is RM100 off, from 27th to 29th March 2022, and while stocks last. The device comes in three colours – Blue, Brown and Green.

Samsung Galaxy M33 5G Hardware Specs

The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G features a 6.6″ Full HD+ TFT display that pushes a high 120Hz refresh rate. Since this isn’t an AMOLED display, the device gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which doubles as a power button.

Under the hood, it gets Samsung’s new 5nm Exynos 1280 processor with 8GB of RAM. If you need more RAM, it has a RAM Plus feature which allows you to extend RAM virtually using available storage. The device has 128GB onboard storage which is expandable with a microSD card up to 1TB.

The Galaxy M33 5G features a quad-camera setup that consists of a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and two 2MP cameras for depth and bokeh. For selfies, the tiny notch on the top of the screen houses an 8MP front camera.

Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W Super Fast Charging via USB-C. Like most new Samsung smartphones launched recently, the charger is not included. All you’ll get in the box besides the phone is a USB-C cable, SIM ejector tool, and a quick start guide. Unlike the Galaxy A33, there’s no IP67-rated dust and water resistance but the M33 still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
