Deal: Honor MagicBook X 15 now going for as low as RM1,999

If you’re looking for an affordable new laptop, Honor Malaysia is having a Chinese New Year promo where you can get a MagicBook X 15 from under RM2,000. From now until 15th February, they are offering RM300 off for the MagicBook X 15 that’s running on Intel’s 10th gen Core processor.

The Honor MagicBook X 15 with an Intel Core i3-10110U, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD officially retails for RM2,299 but it is now going for RM1,999. Meanwhile, the Intel Core i5-10210U version with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD is going for RM2,599 instead of its original price of RM2,899.

The MagicBook X 15 promo is available on the official Honor Malaysia online store as well as Lazada and Shopee. Honor Malaysia is also offering a backpack worth RM199 for free.

Honor MagicBook X 15 Specs

The Honor MagicBook X 15 was released in Malaysia last year as a cheaper alternative to the MagicBook 15 which ran on a newer 11th gen Intel Core processor. The laptop gets a 15.6″ Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display which boasts an 87% screen-to-body ratio. The laptop has 8GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of PCIe NVMe SSD. For GPU, the MagicBook X 15 relies on Intel’s UHD graphics.

Like previous MagicBook models, it has a hidden 1MP pop-up webcam that’s placed on the top row function keys on the keyboard and a power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. In terms of ports, it gets two USB-A (1x USB 3.0 Gen 1, 1x USB 2.0) ports, 1x USB-C port, a HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The laptop gets a 42Wh Lithium Polymer battery that supports 65W fast charging via USB-C. According to Honor, the laptop can get a 70% charge in just an hour on the cable.

The MagicBook X 15 runs on Windows 10 Home and it supports Multi-screen collaboration with a compatible Honor smartphone. In terms of connectivity, it supports 5GHz 802.11ac WiFi with 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0. Overall, it weighs 1.56kg and has a thickness of 16.9mm.
