You can watch Marvel Studios’ Eternals movie on Disney+ Hotstar starting from 12 January

Eternals, one of the most anticipated movies from Marvel Studios of this year, will finally be available exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. Subscribers will be able to watch the movie starting 12 January 2022.

Eternals follows Marvel’s new team of superheroes “from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man”. And if you’ve at least kept up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you’d appreciate that the trailer of the film shows that the movie follows Avengers: Endgame.

“When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again,” said Disney in their description of the movie.

The film was directed by Chloe Zhao, who won an Academy Award for Nomadland. The film also stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani Don Lee, and many others.

After Eternals was released in November of this year, it received mixed reviews. It even currently has a disappointing 47% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but a few of us in the office genuinely enjoyed it—so take the Rotten Tomatoes rating with a grain of salt.

Subscribing to Disney+ Hotstar costs RM54.90 for 3 months. Astro also offers bundles for Netflix, HBO Go, and Disney+ Hotstar—which you can opt for at RM154.99 per month.
