Celcom offers Aqara smart home devices with its Home Fibre and Wireless broadband plans

If you’re looking for a smart home solution, Celcom is offering Aqara smart devices as an add-on for its home broadband customers. There are a total of 10 devices to choose from including a Camera Hub, Smart Door Lock, smart light bulb and a variety of sensors and switches to automate your home.

The Aqara smart home add-on is available for customers that have activated their Celcom Home Fibre, Home Wireless and Celcom Max. You can purchase each device at a discount or get more savings by purchasing a set that starts from RM400.

The entry-level set which comes with an Aqara Camera Hub G2H, Window & Door Sensor and LED Light Bulb costs RM400, which is a savings of RM187. If you get the 9-unit set which includes the Smart Wall Switch D1, Wireless Mini Switch, Motion Sensor, Water Leak Sensor, Vibration Sensor, and Temperature and Humidity Sensor, it will cost you RM800, which is a savings of RM381. You can get everything including the Smart Door Lock N100e for RM1,900, which offers a maximum savings of RM780.

It is worth pointing out that you’ll need the Aqara Camera Hub G2H to operate all other devices except for the Smart Door Lock. The smart camera can record 1080p videos with a 140-degree angle and it works with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

According to the FAQ, the add-on bundle is available for purchase at any Celcom Bluecube outlet nationwide and the devices will be delivered to your home for free. If you don’t want to pay the full amount outright, Celcom also offers easy payment plan options with 12 or 24-month instalments with Maybank, CIMB and HSBC credit cards.

The Aqara devices come with a 1-year limited warranty and they are distributed by Bellicose (M) Sdn Bhd. The FAQ also states that if you purchase the Smart Door Lock N100e, a technician will deliver and manage the installation for you.
