To support the Pakej Keluarga Malaysia initiative, U Mobile has introduced its Zero Ringgit Phone deals where you can get a free 4G LTE device with VoLTE on a low monthly commitment contract. With the campaign, you can pick up a Samsung Galaxy A02 for RM0 with no upfront payment required. In addition, the device is tied with a shorter 12-month contract period.

Free phone on RM68/month plan

To get the Samsung Galaxy A02 32GB with zero upfront payment, you’ll need to sign up for U Mobile GX68 Giler Unlimited plan on a 12-month contract. The postpaid plan which costs RM68/month comes with unlimited calls to all networks, unlimited data, and 5GB of hotspot quota. If you prefer a different device with 64GB of storage, there’s the Galaxy A03s or the Oppo A16 that are offered for RM199 each.

Free phone on RM40/month plan

If you don’t need unlimited data and prefer to get a plan with a lower fee, the Galaxy A02 is also offered for free with a new KM40 postpaid plan on a 12-month contract. The plan offers 5GB of data and 50 minutes of voice calls to all networks for RM40/month. You can also redeem the free 1GB daily data for productivity use through the MyUMobile app. While the phone is free, you’ll need to pay RM288 as an upfront payment which will be rebated back to your account monthly (RM24 x 12 months).
