Celcom Mega now lets you add up to 6 unlimited family lines at RM40/month per line

Celcom has updated its family postpaid plan offering which allows more family members to enjoy unlimited data for less. If you’re a Celcom Mega postpaid customer, you can now add up to 6 supplementary lines with unlimited data at RM40/month for each line.

The supplementary plan with unlimited data was introduced in April for the Celcom Mega Unlimited but you could only add up to a maximum of 3 family lines. With the new update, they have raised the limit to 6 lines and it is now applicable for both Celcom Mega Lightning and Mega Unlimited customers.

Celcom Mega 80 and 98 customers are entitled to add up to 3 family lines. However, for Celcom Mega 128, 158 and 188 principal lines, you can add up to 6 family lines.

In terms of speed, Celcom Mega Unlimited 98 has a speed cap of 10Mbps while Unlimited 128 has a speed cap of 15Mbps. Mega Unlimited 158 speed cap is at 20Mbps while the highest 188 option is capped at 30Mbps.

Each unlimited family line costs RM40/month and it comes with unlimited calls to all networks and unlimited data with a speed cap of 6Mbps. Also included is 5GB of hotspot data each month.

For those who want uncapped speeds, there’s the Lightning Family Line option that also costs RM40/month per line and it comes with 30GB of high-speed data quota. Unlike the recent updated Fair Use Policy (FUP) introduced for Xpax prepaid, there’s currently no hard cap FUP for its Mega postpaid offering.

According to Celcom, customers on Mega Postpaid 98 plan and above with family lines can also add-on smartphones and devices on contract for the entire family. Customers can also enjoy savings up to RM2,320 when they purchase the latest iPhone 13 paired with accessories such as the AirPods or Apple Watch via Celcom.
