Realme Malaysia announced a whole new lineup of AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) devices through a livestream on their official Facebook page. They introduced eight new products, including the TechLife Handheld Vacuum Cleaner, and TechLife Air Purifier—amongst other smart home appliances.
“We are proud to launch our latest AIoT lineup with a selection of smart home devices to revamp our fans’ home living experience by connecting Tech & Wellness. We are also grateful to our fans who have been supporting us throughout the years and we believe that these new products will create a safer, smarter and more comfortable living for them,” said Tiffany Teh, Brand Director of Realme Malaysia.
The RealmeTechLife Air Purifier is equipped with the HEPA H12 filter—which means that it is capable of filtering at least 99.5% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns and larger in diameter. This includes dust, PM2.5 pollution, pet dander, hair, and other common pollutants that can affect the air quality in your house.
The air purifier also boasts “high clean air delivery rate of up to 330m³/h”. Basically this translates to it being able to “provide excellent purification results in a relatively short amount of time”. It is suitable for a maximum indoor area of 419ft² (39㎡).
Additionally, the air purifier comes with 5 different fan modes—Sleep, Soft, Normal, Strong and Auto, which you can switch and pick “with just a simple tap”. It’s also able to show green, orange or red for its Air Quality Indicator to show whether the air quality is good, mederate or poor.
The RealmeTechLife Air Purifier (with a 1 year warranty) will be available for RM399 during its “First Sale” offer at Realme’s official Lazada store on 18 October. Its regular price is RM499.
This handheld vacuum cleaner features 140W motor with 10,500 RPM, providing a suction power of 9.5 KPa. But it has an air duct design with “reduced resonance of no more than 80db” for a quieter cleaning experience. The vacuum also has 2 cleaning modes—Strong Cleaning Mode for quick cleaning, and Soft Cleaning Mode for general everyday cleaning. It also has a 2200mAh battery, which can provide up to 40 minutes of Soft Cleaning Mode or 20 mins of Strong Cleaning Mode.
The Realme TechLife Handheld Vacuum comes with three different brushes for different areas. They include its floor brush with soft bristles, a crevice tool for small areas, and a 2-in-1 brush for cleaning furniture like sofas and shelves. It also has an extension tube that attaches to all three brushes if you need to reach far and high places.
For its filter, the handheld vacuum features an “environmentally friendly” kind which can still capture microscopic dust and allergens. The only difference is that it is reusable after washing. It also features a 0.5L dust cup designed with one-touch opening to avoid your hands from touching the collected dirt.
The Realme TechLife Handheld Vacuum (with a 1 year warranty) will be available for RM349 during its “First Sale” offer at Realme’s official Lazada store on 18 October. Its regular price is RM399.
Power-wise, the TechLife Robot Vacuum has 3000 Pascals of suction and mopping capabilities, and operates at a low 55dB noise level Realme’s TechLife Robot Vacuum has 3000 Pa of suction power. It also has mopping capabilities and it operates at a low 55db noise level to “avoid disturbances”. Its also got 38 different sensor types that help it navigate around your home.
Of the 38 sensors, the robot vacuum has a LiDAR sensor—technology that uses “eye-safe laser beams” to create a 3D representation of the surveyed environment. The technology also helps the vacuum to calculate the best path to clean a room based on its shape and size, while avoiding objects like large pieces of furniture.
Additionally, the robot vacuum is designed to work with the Realme Link app, which lets you control where, when and how you want a specific place cleaned. The app also enables real-time monitoring, and you’re able to define zones, set up virtual walls for if you want the vacuum to avoid an area, as well as store up to 5 different maps for multi-level homes.
There’s no information on when the Realme TechLife Robot Vacuum will be available, but its regular price is RM1,999, and it will come with a 2 year warranty.
The Realme Hair Dryer features 1400 watts of power and 19,000 rpm fan speed. It’s also able to blow up to 13.8m/s with a 5-minute “quick hair drying experience”, and features a low noise operation which is no more than 80db.
But it doesn’t just have fast drying abilities. The Realme Hair Dryer keeps the temperature below 55 degrees Celcius to avoid too much hair damage while effectively drying hair at the same time. It also has a cool “soft wind” setting which provides air flow at 45 to 50 degrees Celcius.
The Realme Hair Dryer is also “coming soon”, although we don’t know exactly when it would be available. Its regular price is RM199 and will come with a 1 year warranty.
