Netflix releases ‘Squid Game’ video meeting backgrounds so you can be in the game without risking your life

The hype for the popular South Korean television series is still going strong, even causing Netflix some legal trouble along the way. Regardless, Netflix is keeping the hype going by posting 11 high-quality ‘Squid Game’ video meeting backgrounds on their Facebook page.

Out of all the meeting backgrounds, there are nine landscape 2048 × 1365 resolution pictures and two portrait orientation pictures for mobile users. These pictures can even be used as regular computer or phone backgrounds, as they are aesthetically pleasing by themselves.

All of them depict scenes from the show, showing well-composed and balanced shots of the immaculate sets created for the show.

Many of them are quite symmetrical and are void of any human presence, making it perfect for your next meeting in Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.

I think custom video meeting backgrounds are always fun and Netflix should release more pictures like this from other shows. Personally, I would love a background from ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ so I can pretend to be a chess grandmaster at work.

If you’re wondering how to change your meeting background, most programs allow you to change it through the settings or preferences page. For example, in Zoom, it’s under ‘Settings’ and ‘Background & Filters’.

You can download the high-quality versions through their original Facebook post.
