Yes offers Samsung Galaxy A02 for RM1 on a RM49 postpaid contract

If you need a new 4G phone and an affordable postpaid plan with loads of data, Yes is currently running a Pakej Merdeka RM1 promo where you can get a Samsung Galaxy A02 for only RM1. It is tied to a 12-month contract of Yes Postpaid 49, which is one of the most value for money postpaid options at the moment.

Yes RM49 Postpaid Plan

To recap, the RM49 postpaid plan comes with a generous 100GB of monthly data and unlimited voice calls to all networks. Although the phone costs just RM1, you’ll need to fork out RM149 as an advance payment and one month subscription fee (RM49) during sign-up. The RM149 advance payment will be rebated back to your monthly bill across 12 months. During registration, you’ll have to pay a total of RM210.88 (including SST).

According to the T&C, this offer is open to all Malaysians with a valid MyKad, MyPR or MyTentera. It is available from 23rd August until 18th September 2021, while stocks last. If you’re interested in the Pakej Merdeka RM1 promo, you can sign up on yes.my.

Unlike other telcos, Yes operates a 100% 4G LTE network with VoLTE and they are ready for the upcoming 3G sunset that’s happening at the end of this year. However, this also means that there’s no 2G network to fall back to if you’re out of Yes’ 4G coverage areas. Before subscribing, you should check if your area is covered before committing to a contract.
