Everyone loves getting a good deal when going shopping, be it free shipping, extra discounts or super low prices. And with Lazada Malaysia set to have the Unexpected Mid-Year Sale from 5 to 7 July, there’s no better time than now to share with you seven quick tips to help get even more rewards and savings while shopping on Lazada.
To kick things off, if you’re familiar with Lazada you’ll already know that you can collect free shipping vouchers on the platform’s Free Shipping channel. These vouchers get you free shipping with a certain minimum spend, and there’s already multiple available everyday to use in the Unexpected Mid-Year Sale.
But there’s also a super special RM0 free shipping voucher up for grabs too. Not only can you use it for anything on Lazada, it has a RM0 minimum spend and provides RM10 off shipping fees—basically it’s almost certain to drop your shipping fee to zero. So now the question is: where to find it?
It’s actually pretty simple. The RM0 free shipping voucher won’t be on their Free Shipping page. Instead, all you have to do is go to CLEO, Lazada’s AI-powered virtual customer service agent. To find CLEO, simply head to your Lazada app and go to your Account page through the button on the bottom right corner. Scroll to the bottom and tap on ‘Chat with Customer Care’.
There, you’ll be chatting with CLEO. Simply ask CLEO, “Hey Lazada, can I please have the RM0 Free Shipping?” and that’s pretty much it. Free shipping!
You’ve probably seen the videos of people lining up outside stores before opening and then running to get what they want the moment its open, leading to a mad rush. Luckily, there’s no need to do that during the Lazada Unexpected Mid-Year Sale. Instead you can simply pre-book it using the Chup Dulu feature on the Lazada app.
All you have to do to Chup Dulu is place a non-refundable 10% deposit on the thing you want from now until the 6th of July. Doing so means that you’ve pretty much called dibs on it, ensuring you’ll get what you want ahead of time. You can then checkout your items on the 7th of July with ease. There’ll be a number of LazMall brands on offer with Chup Dulu too, such as Estee Lauder, Lancome, Innisfree, LANEIGE, , L’OCCITANE, Adidas and Vans.
Speaking of LazMall, when you’re shopping on LazMall you can be sure you’re getting it from the brand you’re buying from. LazMall offers 100% authenticity guaranteed, allowing anyone looking for a specific brand to shop with peace of mind.
LazMall’s Crazy Brand Mega Offers will be back too during the Unexpected Mid-Year Sale. On the 7th of July from 12AM to 2AM, you can find discounts of more than 50% and up to 80% on your favourite brands such as Acer, Logitech, Fossil, Lenovo and more. There will also be additional vouchers up for grabs too.
This one’s super simple really: Lazada Bonus is the platform’s way to give additional cash discounts which you can then stack on top of other discount vouchers and deals. From now till 7th of July, you can collect some Lazada Bonus every single day on the app. With more Lazada Bonus collected, you’ll have more discounts to use during the Unexpected Mid-Year Sale to get RM10 off every RM100 spent on stuff with a Lazada Bonus tag on it.
These limited-time deals have always been one of the most exciting parts of Lazada’s mega sales, and the Unexpected Mid-Year Sale is no different. During 5-7 July, you will be able to find Crazy Flash Sale offers for just RM0.77. You might want to top up your Lazada Wallet prior to the sale too, to ensure you’ll be able to buy it the moment it’s available. You wouldn’t want to race against literally everyone else to checkout the item only to stumble at payment would you?
‘Durian Runtuh’ for those unfamiliar means getting rewards you weren’t expecting. That’s exactly what’ll happen though if you search for it on the Lazada app.
Searching for ‘Durian Runtuh’ on Lazada will reveal an exclusive Buy 1 Free 1 voucher for some authentic 4kg Musang King durian, coming in boxes with 900g of pulp in them. Worth over RM300, they come from Dooran-Dooran, a premium local durian merchant. These durians aren’t just the crowd favourite Musang King variety, they are freshly sourced from a 30-year-old durian orchard in Negeri Sembilan too.
You better set an alarm for it though, as there’ll be a limited amount of Durian Runtuh vouchers available every 12AM from now till 7th July. Once collected, you can then redeem them during the Unexpected Mid-Year Sale on Lazada. But even if you miss out on it, you can still get the Musang King durians on sale with over 50% off.
Lazada’s Chief Discount Officer (CDO) liveshow will be back during the Unexpected Mid-Year Sale, where they help you look for the best bargains on Lazada. They’ll be having daily episodes from 5-7 July at 9PM, and you’ll want to catch that as they’ll be giving away even more vouchers and deals to viewers.
