Redmi Note 10 5G

The Redmi Note 10 5G is currently the most affordable 5G smartphone in Malaysia and it looks like a rebadge of the Poco M3 Pro 5G. It features a 6.5″ Full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and it runs on a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The device is equipped with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

In the camera department, it gets a rather basic triple-camera setup. There’s a 48MP main shooter and two 2MP cameras for depth and macro. For selfies, the tiny punch-hole houses an 8MP front camera.

Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging via USB-C. Included in the box is a 22.5W fast charger. The device also gets a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Out of the box, it runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12 skin on top.

Redmi Note 10S

If you don’t need 5G and prefer a phone with better cameras and screen, the Redmi Note 10S costs an extra RM100. It gets a slightly smaller 6.43″ Full HD+ display that uses a more vibrant AMOLED panel.

Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Helio G95 processor that’s mated to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For a better audio experience, it also comes with a dual-speaker setup.

In the imaging department, the device gets a more versatile quad-camera setup featuring a 64MP main camera. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro shooter. Upfront, the tiny punch-hole houses a 13MP selfie shooter.

Similar to the Redmi Note 10 5G, it also gets a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and it supports a higher 33W fast charging via USB-C. The 33W power adapter is also included as well. Out of the box, it runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 skin on top.
