OnePlus Watch Malaysia: Everything you need to know

Besides the OnePlus 9 series, the OnePlus Watch has also officially arrived in Malaysia. This is OnePlus’ first smartwatch that boasts 14 days of battery life on a single charge.

Pricing and availability

The OnePlus Watch is officially priced at RM699 in Malaysia. It comes only in Midnight Black and it will go on sale on the official OnePlus Store on Shopee on the 18th May. If you prefer to get it at physical stores, it will be sold at authorised OnePlus outlets from the 22nd May.

Hardware Specs

The OnePlus Watch comes with a 1.39″ AMOLED display that pushes 454×454 pixels resolution. It gets a 46mm 316L stainless body that has two physical buttons on the side.

Onboard it gets 4GB of storage which can be used to store up to 500 songs for offline listening. The watch connects via Bluetooth 5.0 and it currently only supports Android smartphones running on version 6.0 and above. It also comes with built-in speaker and microphone which can be used for answering voice calls from your wrist.

The watch supports over 110 workout modes and it has a built-in heart rate sensor with blood oxygen monitoring. There’s also built-in GPS and the watch is also water resistant with 5ATM and IP68 rating.

On a single charge, it is rated to last up to 14 days with normal use and you can get 7 days worth of battery life with a quick 20-minute “Warp Charge”. With sleep blood oxygen monitoring enabled, the watch can last up to 5 days and it is also rated to last up to 25 hours with continuous exercise with GPS turned on.
