Malaysia has recorded 3,332 new COVID-19 cases today which brings the total number of infections to 404,925. There are 15 new deaths reported and the death toll is now 1,492.
The Ministry of Health has reported 1,943 new recoveries and a total of 375,340 patients have recovered and discharged so far. The recovery rate is now 92.69% while the mortality rate remains at 0.37%.
There are currently 28,093 active cases remaining that are receiving treatment. 309 cases are in ICU while 147 require respiratory support.
Out of the 3,332 new cases today, 9 are imported while 3,323 are transmitted locally. Selangor recorded the most with 1,083 cases, followed by Sarawak with 522 cases, Kelantan with 401 cases and Kuala Lumpur with 359 cases.
