Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will be making a special address to the nation this evening which will be streamed live across multiple platforms. Today marks a year (365 days) of the Movement Control Order (MCO) which started on 18th March 2020.
From the teaser image, it appears that the Prime Minister will reveal a new PEMERKASA plan to boost the local economy following the lifting of MCO 2.0. Malaysia has been recording a decline in new COVID-19 infections with less than 2,000 new cases daily for almost two weeks.
The announcement is happening at 5.30pm today (17th March 2021) and it will be streamed live through multiple platforms including RTM, Bernama TV, TV3 and Astro Awani.
