Lego has been killing it with sets that help teach kids about Chinese culture—like these CNY-themed sets. They have even released their own “Monkey King” series in 2020 called Monkie Kid, and now they are celebrating their second season with seven new sets.
Lego Monkie Kid is inspired by the 500-year-old legend of the Monkey King. Their show—which premiered last year—tells the story of a boy who finds the Monkey King’s legendary staff and becomes the chosen one.
Along with the mini movie debut, Lego is also releasing seven Monkie Kid sets. They include The Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain (80024), Monkie Kid Lion Guardian (80021), Spider Queen’s Arachnoid Base (80022), Monkie Kid’s Cloud Bike (80018), Red Son’s Inferno Jet (80019), White Dragon’s Horse Jet (80020), Monkie Kid’s Team Dronecopter (80023).
