ShopeePay now accepted at BHPetrol, get up to RM12 total cashback

Boustead Petroleum Marketing (BHPetrol) has announced that ShopeePay is now accepted at all of its 400 petrol stations in Malaysia. As part of its introductory offer, ShopeePay users can get cashback worth up to RM12 in total.

With a minimum spend of RM40 on fuel products or BHPetromart items in a single transaction via ShopeePay, you can earn RM4 cashback. Each eligible customer can receive a maximum of three cashbacks under the campaign which runs from 1st March until 30th April 2021.

Do note that the promo excludes bill payment, reload and carwash services at BHPetrol service stations. The cashback campaign is limited to the first 87,500 eligible transactions.

Before heading to BHPetrol, just top up your ShopeePay wallet in the Shopee app via credit or debit card, online banking or cash payment at 7-Eleven. To make a payment, you’ll need to show the ShopeePay payment QR/Barcode at the cashier.

BHPetrol Marketing general manager Lawrence Chuah said they are looking at ways to improve their offers in providing the best quality fuels as well as exciting offers that are convenient for the customers. BHPetrol began its digitalisation of their payment system in June 2020. He said accepting ShopeePay as an added payment mode offers their consumers more choice.

If you’re a first time user, just download the Shopee app which is available on Apple AppStore, Google PlayStore and Huawei AppGallery. In case you missed it, ShopeePay is the first eCommerce platform to support DuitNow QR, the national QR standard for cashless payment.
