Where can you ride electric scooters legally in Malaysia? | Let’s Talk About #48

The Royal Malaysia Police has announced that electric scooters will be banned on public roads effective 1st January 2021. Violators can be fined up to RM1,000 or jailed up to 3 months. While regulating Personal Mobility Devices (or Personal Electric Vehicles) is necessary, there are no a clear guidelines on where you can and cannot use your PMD.
