Realme Watch S Pro: AMOLED display, blood oxygen monitor and up to 14 days battery life

Realme has officially announced the Realme Watch S Pro in Malaysia, its most premium smartwatch yet. This is a significant step up from the Realme Watch S (RRP: RM369) that was introduced last month and it goes head to head with the Honor Magic Watch 2.

Price and availability

The Realme Watch S Pro is officially priced at RM599 in Malaysia. It will be available first through authorised dealers and Realme Brand stores on the 30th and 31st January 2021. If you prefer it to get it online, you can buy it on the official Realme store on Lazada and Shopee on the 4th February 2021.

Hardware specs

The Realme Watch S Pro features a 1.39″ AMOLED display (454×454 pixels) which supports Always-on display and it comes with Gorilla Glass. For a more upmarket feel, it uses a stainless steel case and by default, you get a silicon strap. Users can replace the strap with other options including vegan leather. The silicon straps (Blue, Orange, Green) are priced at RM49 while the Vegan Leather options (Brown, Blue and Green) are priced at RM99.

On a single charge, the 420mAh battery boasts 14-days of continuous usage. It can track a total of 15 sports modes and it has a built-in PPG heart rate sensor that can also monitor your blood oxygen level. The Watch is also capable of alerting you if it detects abnormally with your heart rate reading. Also included is a 6-axis accelerometer, geomagnetic sensor and a gyroscope sensor.

Apart from receiving notifications from your smartphone, you can use the watch to control your music playback or use it as a remote control for your camera. The Watch S Pro also features dual-satellite GPS and it also comes with 5ATM water resistance. This allows you to take it for a swim and it is rated to be submerged up to 50 metres deep.

The Watch S Pro is charged with a magnetic charging case and it takes 2 hours for a full charge. The device connects via Bluetooth 5.0 and it can support both Android (5.0 and above) and iOS (9.0 and above) devices using the Realme Link app.
