U Mobile introduces SPM/STPM plan, 15GB for RM20/month

To support SPM and STPM 2021 students, U Mobile is now offering a special data package for its prepaid customers. This is applicable to all Malaysian prepaid customers born between 2001 to 2004.

Under this campaign, eligible students can activate the “Pakej Data SPM/STPM” from the MyUMobile app (Android, Huawei AppGallery, iOS). It offers 15GB of high-speed data valid for 30 days for RM20/month. Alternatively, you can also activate via UMB by dialing 118*3*12#. Take note that this isn’t applicable for U Mobile Broadband service subscribers.

The SPM/STPM plan will be available from today, 6th January until 30th April 2021. According to U Mobile, there are no data restrictions and you can use it for all usage including social media platforms and video/music streaming platforms. Users are also able to use the data for hotspot usage.

According to the FAQ, the plan will be renewed automatically at the end of the 30 days validity subject to the minimum balance in your prepaid account. U Mobile will push a SMS notification 1-2 days before the auto-renewal is due.

If you need more data, you can add-on a 10GB Data Booster for RM5. The booster comes with a validity of 14 days and you can purchase it from the MyUMobile App. In case you missed it, U Mobile is still offering free 1GB data daily for productivity use until 31st March 2021. You can redeem the free data via SMS by sending FREE1GB via SMS to 28111 and it will be valid for 24 hours.
