We’ve reported earlier this month of the announcement of the new Uniqlo roadside megastore opening at DA Square @ Damansara Avenue. Now, Uniqlo announces that they will be officially launching the store on 18 December 2020—and will provide a special goodie bags for 1,500 customers.
“Uniqlo roadside stores are a very popular store format in Japan and Asia. Providing a brand-new shopping experience for customers in the local area, the DA Square store will be closely engaged with the community fora more personal, more convenient shopping experience,” said Uniqlo in their press release.
The store will carry some items that have usually only been available online. The items include their Airism bedsheets and pillow covers as part of their ‘Homeware‘ line. There will also be UTme!—a special t-shirt and sticker printing service where customers can create their very own original designs.
To celebrate the launch of the megastore, Uniqlo will be giving away special goodie bags to the first 500 customers to enter on the first three days of operation—18, 19 and 20 December. One of the items in the goodie bag is an up cycled denim card holder, sustainably made by underprivileged mothers using materials left over from jean alterations at Uniqlo stores.
Every customer that makes a purchase of RM200 or more in a single transaction will also receive Uniqlo 2020 Fall-Winter tote bag. However, this is only offered while stocks last.
The Uniqlo roadside megastore at DA Square will open at 10am, 18 December. Operating hours are from 10am to 10pm daily. Same-level parking is available for customers outside the store building—including spaces for people with disabilities.
