Deal: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 can be yours with a RM700 discount

If the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is out of your budget, here’s another tablet deal for you to consider. Samsung Malaysia is now offering last year’s Tab S6 tablet with a RM700 discount during its Samsung Week promo.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 was officially launched at RM3,099 but now you can get it for RM2,399 upon checkout on Samsung’s official online store. If you go to the product page, the tablet is still listed at RM3,099 and the discount will be reflected when you add to cart as shown below.

The Galaxy Tab S6 still comes with an S Pen that charges magnetically at the back of the tablet. According to the spec sheet on the Malaysian product page, the device supports 4G LTE, which allows you to stay connected when you pop-in a SIM card. This is something you don’t get unfortunately, on the latest Tab S7 and S7+.

To recap, the Galaxy Tab S6 features a 10.5″ Super AMOLED display that pushes a WQXGA resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB RAM and it has 128GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD card.

For taking pictures, the rear gets a dual-camera setup that consists of a 13MP main and 5MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. Meanwhile, the front comes with an 8MP selfie camera.

Powering the tablet is a 7,040mAh battery that is rated to last up to 15 hours of video playback on a single charge. Take note that there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack but it does come with quad-speakers tuned by AKG.

The tablet also supports Samsung Dex for a PC-like desktop experience. For a more productive setup, you can get the optional book cover keyboard which is selling for RM699. The Tab S6 is available in 3 colours – Mountain Grey, Cloud Blue and Rose Blush.
