MyEG has announced that it will soon offer its users the ability to renew their motorcycle road tax and Competent Driving License (CDL). The e-government solutions provider said the new services are scheduled to go live on MyEG’s portal on 9th October and 16th October respectively.
MyEG has been the concessionaire for the Malaysian e-government services flagship application since 2000. For the longest time, car owners been able to renew their road tax online via the portal. At one point, car owners could renew their license via laminated renewal slip but that service has been discontinued since 1 January 2018.
Currently, car owners drivers can check and pay their traffic summons, renew their insurance and renew their road tax and apply for a Learner Driver License (LDL) via Road Transport Department (JPJ)’s services on MyEG.
The e-government service provider said its online platform provides a safe, secure and reliable method for users to maintain the validity of their requisite documents from the comforts of their homes, in line with physical distancing practices.
