Samsung Malaysia has introduced the Galaxy Tab A7, a new full-sized tablet that’s priced under RM1,000. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Tab A7 is the perfect companion for children for both learning and entertainment.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is officially priced at RM999 in Malaysia. This is the WiFi version and it comes with 32GB of storage. The tablet is offered in two colour options – Silver and Dark Gray.
Samsung is also including complimentary 6-month subscription to SnapLearn worth RM255. You also get 2-months free YouTube Premium which provides an ad-free experience.
As an introductory promotion, the Tab A7 is offered with Purchase-with-Purchase (PWP) promo where you can get 20% off for selected accessories. The Book Cover can be yours for RM159 (RRP: RM199), while the Anymode Book cover is going for RM95 (RRP: RM119). The Disney’s Mickey Mouse TPU cover is also offered on discount for RM63 (RRP: RM79).
The Galaxy Tab A7 features a 10.4″ TFT display that pushes a 2000×1200 pixels resolution. For a more immersive audio experience, the tablet gets a quad-speaker setup enhanced by Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor with 3GB of RAM. Onboard, it has 32GB of storage which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 1TB.
For taking pictures, it gets an 8MP main camera at the rear, while the front comes with a 5MP camera for video conferencing and selfies.
To provide a safe environment for your kids, the tablet gets Samsung Kids which focuses on providing family-friendly activities. Parents can also use Samsung Kids to add restrictions for playtimes, apps and contacts.
Powering the Galaxy Tab A7 is a 7,040mAh battery. It supports 15W fast charging via USB-C and it still retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. Overall, it is 7.0mm thick and it weighs 476g. Out of the box, it runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.5.
