You can buy the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro for less than RM2,000

Xiaomi’s newly announced Mi 10T series definitely turned a few heads. But, for the Malaysian market, the one question on everyone’s mind was “how much would it cost?”. Obviously, this led to a lot of speculation, and with the European pricing hovering around the RM3,000 mark, I thought we’d see a retail price of around RM2,400 when it launches here. Xiaomi Malaysia, however, has a different idea for the Mi 10T Pro.

Today, the company revealed on their social media platforms what looks like confirmation that you can buy the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, for less than RM2,000.

Now, to me that sounds almost too good to be true. If it does turn out to be the official RRP for the Mi 10T Pro’s top spec variant, that means our Mi 10T Pro—at worst—would still be over RM1,000 less than the European version.

One other possibility is that this RM1XXX price tag could be a special flash sale or one-day sale price to commemorate the launch of the handset in Malaysia. At this point, nothing has been officially confirmed by Xiaomi Malaysia just yet, so definitely stay tuned for the official launch on the 6th of October 2020 because we’ll be dropping all the details then.
