You can turn your empty car park bay into a Socar zone

Car sharing provider Socar has introduced a new Socar Chup program which allows you to turn your empty parking lot into a new Socar zone. In return, you’ll receive additional perks and benefits.

As a Socar Chup applicant, you’ll get to choose your favourite Socar and you will be entitled to enjoy 50% off promos for your bookings. On top of that, you’ll also receive Socar coupons worth up to RM100 every month.

To sign up, you must have a parking space at a high-rise residential zone that’s open 24-hours. The parking spot must have good mobile signal reception and preferably with boom gate and security surveillance.

You would need to provide proof of ownership of the parking lot which may include pictures of your car parking sticker, access card, residence management application with parking lot number as well as your phone bill or tenancy agreement. If your high-rise building does not allow non-residents from entering the parking bay, Socar can state that the vehicle is accessible to residents only.

From the application form, you can choose a variety of Socar vehicles from a Perodua Axia to a Mazda CX-5 for your parking spot. The Socar Chup contract will be for a period of 3 months and you can terminate it by giving them a one month notice.

If a Socar member loses the parking access card, you may contact Socar to carry out an investigation and they will arrange for reimbursement. If the Socar team needs to send the vehicle for a car wash or service maintenance, they will contact you 7 days in advance.

If you’re interested, you can sign up for the Socar Chup program here. If you have any other questions, you may also contact them at 03-97790303.
