The Realme C12 has finally arrived in Malaysia and this is Realme’s latest budget phone offering. While it shares a similar screen size as the C11, the C12 boasts a huge 6,000mAh battery.
The Realme C12 comes in one spec option with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage and it is officially priced at RM529 in Malaysia. Offered in either Coral Red or Marine Blue, the device is now available through its official store on Lazada Malaysia. Offline sales at authorised dealers and brand stores will begin on 31st August 2020.
The Realme C12 comes bundles with a pair of Realme Buds Classic headphones worth RM59. If you buy it from authorised dealers, you’ll receive a free screen magnifier and a free clear case. Meanwhile, Realme Brand Stores are throwing in an additional bundle vouchers worth RM250 and a gift box while stocks last.
The Realme C12 features a 6.5″ HD+ display that pushes a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G35 processor with 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM and has 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD.
For taking pictures, the rear gets a triple-camera setup that consists of a 13MP f/2.2 main camera, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP B&W Lens for portrait effects. For selfies, the notch on the display houses a 5MP front camera.
Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery that supports reverse charging. It supports a standard 10W charging and it still uses a microUSB port. Despite being a budget phone, it still gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
If you’re looking for a cheaper option, Realme Malaysia is having a Merdeka promo for its C11 series. The base 2GB RAM + 32GB storage model is priced at RM399 while the 3GB RAM + 32Gb storage version is going for RM449. More details here.
