Malaysians have to pay more for fuel for the coming week as prices are up again across the board. RON97 and RON95 petrol are up by 5 sen per litre while Diesel is up by 3 sen.
Below are the fuel prices for the period between 15th to 21st August 2020.
RON95 – RM1.68/litre (+5 sen)
RON97 – RM1.98/litre (+5 sen)
Diesel – RM1.82/litre (+3 sen)
Diesel (Euro 5) – RM1.92/litre (+3 sen)
The price of fuel in Malaysia is calculated based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM). According to the Ministry of Finance, the adjustments in fuel prices reflect the changes in the pricing of refined oil products in line with the current global crude oil prices.
