If you’re still holding on to your old Huawei or Honor smartphone, Huawei Malaysia is now having a service campaign where you can enjoy part replacement and service at a special price. This is offered for out of warranty devices and you can replace the LCD screen from as low as RM99, the back cover from RM69 or the mainboard from RM159.
If you’re replacing the screen or mainboard, you can top up RM9 to replace the back cover. The service campaign uses 100% genuine spare parts and it comes with a 90-day warranty for the replaced part.
The price of parts depend on the model you’re using. For example, the screen costs RM99 for models like the Huawei Nova 2i, MediaPad T1 10.0, Honor 7X and Honor 9 Lite, and it would costs as high as RM199 for the P9 Plus and Mate 10 Pro. For the mainboard, it could costs as high as RM229 for the P10, P10 Plus, Mate 9 Pro and Mate 10 Pro.
The campaign will run from the 12th August until 1st October 2020. You can learn more from the Huawei One Price Repair page.
For those who are buying a brand new Huawei smartphone, you can get extra peace of mind by purchasing a Huawei Care add-on. This would provide you with extra screen protection and extended warranty.
For flagship devices like the Huawei P40, P30 and Mate 30 series, the one-time screen protection for 1-year costs RM248 while the extended warranty would cost you RM149 for 1 year. Huawei Members can get 10% discount for Huawei Care when you purchase the care plan at the following service centres:
