Amid much fanfare, Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Note 20 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event. And if you’ve had your eye on the latest Note smartphone, you might’ve started browsing through cases online with a view to getting some protective gear for your expensive potential purchase. With that in mind, Razer has just announced a version of the Arctech Pro case for both the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra.
Razer has designed Arctech Pro cases for several other phones, such as the iPhone 11 series and its own Razer Phone 2. Similarly, the Arctech Pro is a case that’s designed to protect your new Galaxy Note 20—while keeping it cool during long hours of mobile gaming.
This is done with Thermaphene Cooling Technology, made up of thermally conductive layers that sits within the case, helping to dissipate built-up heat through the perforated design of the case. This prevents heat from getting trapped when the Galaxy Note 20 runs hot, therefore preventing slowdowns or even overheating.
As mentioned, the ArcTech Pro is also designed to protect the Galaxy Note 20, with Razer referring to the case as “drop-certified”. “Nasty dings or drops” won’t be enough to damage your ArcTech-clad Galaxy Note, Razer claims, although there isn’t any sort of certification or standard to back this up.
You’ll also be getting an anti-bacterial coating, which is particularly pertinent now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Do note (pun intended) that this won’t actually sanitise your phone—instead, the case has a layer that “prevents the growth of bacteria”.
If you’re picking up a 5G variant of the Galaxy Note 20, Razer also says that connectivity won’t be affected by the case in any way. In Malaysia, 5G variants are available for both the Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra, although there is a 4G-only version for the standard Note 20.
Pricing has been announced as USD44.99 (~RM188), although we don’t yet have any official word on Malaysian availability. As always, remember to keep SoyaCincau.com bookmarked on your browsers to stay up to date on the latest developments.
